  Target shooting with my son. A few hundred rounds with no issue. Then he shoots and it sounds like a .22 shot went off. Barrel looks clogged..shook it a little and the clog falls out (remanents of a round) so I load the gun and fire and the same loud shot sound and clogged barrel..clog falls out with no effort. Gun is on the shelf for now..any idea whats causing this

    My recommendation is to give it a good slap. That should break it free then you can pull it down

    I lube everything that moves with grease or motor oil depending on which part, but Tyler is correct that you can get away with very little lube, possibly none. Up to you but I like it when cocking and it feels and sounds as smooth as butter..

    Typical break barrel maintenance requires some lubrication with spring cylinder oil every few thousand rounds. Aside from that, not much other than cleaning the barrel.

    Not a chance unless dieseling, which is like dumping nitrous into a Prius until it does 10's. Expect a more reaslistic 900 to as high a 1000fps with typical weight pellets. Maybe someone will post real #'s but I doubt anyone who can afford a Crony would buy this gun
